Charcoal Sketch of a Girl in a Hallway

This sketch is a girl standing at the end of a hallway. This piece was an experiment with loose charcoal sketching to capture a moment which I had when I was a child. The girl is smudged and in some ways translucent to illustrate some form of a paranormal occurrence or memory. The white blur behind the girl looks like there is another person or light behind her I seen this after I did the piece I may have done it subconsciously but it creates some kind of being behind the girl. I really enjoyed making this piece as I could take my anger out in it with harsh charcoal lines creating a darkening and disturbing aspect to the piece.
